Oh yeah, here comes my new baby! :) Thought of getting Denon initially but once I found Onkyo 7.2-channel TX-NR609 and after I tested the sound quality inside the demo room, I just love it.   Beside than its advanced features and offering full network capability, it’s also the first receiver to feature Marvell Qdeo upconversion video processing technology (same as the Philips Qdeo Image Processor Blu-ray disc player), which can upscale any video source all the way up to a 4k resolutions - something that no current home displays can do. This may not have any practical use right now, but it could be handy when sets such as Toshiba’s glasses-free TV hit the shops within the next 12 months. Compared to other AV receivers like Marantz and Denon, I’d have to say this is tremendous value for the price!
